Fomin Igor Vladimirovich was born September 5, 1982 in the town of Chapaevsk (Samara region, Russia). Russian physicist, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences.
In 2005 he graduated from Ulyanovsk State University, in 2008he received the post-graduate degree atUlyanovsk State University.
In 2009 he defended his thesis 'Gravitational perturbations in the exact models of cosmological inflation'. His scientific advisor was Professor S.V. Chervon.
Since 2010 he has been working as an associate professor at the Physics Department of the Moscow State Technical University.
I.V. Fomin is a specialist in the field of gravity theory, cosmology and the theory of cosmological perturbations.
In 2005-2012 he proposed the models of cosmological inflation based on the exact solutions of the dynamics equations, methods for estimating the deviation of slow-roll approximation in the analysis of background dynamics and cosmological perturbations are also developed.
In 2012-2015he investigated the effects associated with the propagation of light in the gravitational field of astrophysical objects.
In 2016-2017 he determined the functional and parametric relationship betweencosmological models based on General Relativity and Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet modified gravity theory.
He has more than 30 scientific publications, including one monograph.
